Here is the thing!!! Have you ever thought about this? How the emotional influencers in the name of guidance try to suppress what you are going through within or they try to divert it? I had not thought about it until now. When there is a personal loss-especially losing a loved one, these so called emotional sprout like mushrooms to tell you how to deal with your grief... One of the common ones are:  Be strong  Divert your attention Get back to work Keep yourself bus and so on and so forth.. Here you are not dealing with your emotions but parking it and feeding it, letting it grow slowly and one fine day it just spurts out for no reason. What struck me the most is how we have emotional transformers who turn the emotion towards you and manipulating it making it all about you.   This is going on in my head for sometime🙂and in fact for days! It started working more in my thoughts when I started reading the Book- "The Book of a Woman" by OSHO. I was trying to understand his thoughts and what he had to say in his book. He has not spoken about uniqueness in a manner I think of it but it gave me a perspective to work on my line of thinking. Have you ever thought about comparison? Something that is so easy to do but is highly complex in its form? As a Child and a growing adult, I detested being compared with anyone. I did not understand the reason.  I kept thinking, how can one be compared with another? It is often executed as if it does not matter and is done as a matter of fact!   The human race exists and prevails on belief system. Moreover, the validation that we need to tell ourselves that we are correct and in turn prove to others we are a step ahead than others. A couple of months back (somewhere around Nov-Dec-2019), I received a call for a job opportunity. While I went on to explain the kind of profile I was looking for, and my preferences as a candidate, I was snapped at saying” you will never get a job in a Corporate, especially if you want to work remote”. The person went on to say “if I had to receive a profile like yours, I would have trashed it in the bin and not looked at it in the first place. As someone, wanting to work remotely and willing to telecommute to the office on need basis is not happening and no one would want to hire.” While I was trying to put my point across, saying” I understand what you are saying, but this is what I am looking at”, the hiring person went on and asked me to look at an alternative and shovel my aspirations of a remote-regular job.
