Acceptance-The begining of True Bonding...

Acceptance is the basic necessity of all living beings. In all possible relations on this earth, it is something that brings content to oneself. Being accepted brings with itself peace, trust, confidence. To put it in other words, it is the first step towards bonding.

We all crave for this acceptance from one and other and wait for the same. This is not limited to humans itself, but to everything that exists. Everything that can be felt, sensed and reciprocates. It could be the sky, water, valleys, mountains, fire, mud, snow, mammals, reptiles, insects anything that we feel connected with.

We often connect well with them as we accept them the way they are and we feel their necessity and beauty and want. We get connected to the world outside us, to the universe, to a world of spirituality and also to a world that we cannot perceive in the human state.

But, most of the time we fail to connect to the world we live in, the one that lies within ourselves, around us. This makes me stop and think for a while.

Maybe because we don’t allow ourselves to be accepted by the world around us and at times we don’t allow ourselves to be accepted the way we are by our own selves. It could be due to lack of fear, our own insecurities, experiences, circumstances, situations, and ego. At times, our expectations are set so high that we fail to realize what we are depriving ourselves of. Unfortunately, when it comes to our own world, we create an invisible wall around us that not only prevents us from being accepted but also prevents us from accepting our own world. This creates a dilemma within us. We get into a monologue. We doubt our so existing dual personalities and search for our true selves. This, in turn, draws to the world that we connect to in the hope of finding answers to our confused state.

We often get into this situations may be as we haven’t learned to let go of ourselves, of being child-like, even if it has to be just for a while.

The reason for being able to connect to almost to everything outside our own world is probably because the world outside us allows itself to be accepted the way it is.In its true sense of spirit and soul. This makes us see things more clearly and without any blockages. This brings us immense happiness. We look forward to that magical bond to be established again and again. Each time we try, we experience a new bond and touch that makes us get back to it every time for yet another new experience, for yet another new lesson and more contentment.

We actually want both these worlds to work in synergy, to go hand in hand and experience happiness not in bits and pieces, not in 2 different manners but incomplete amalgamation in its true sense. We at times try to put things together and make it happen to experience its completeness, even if it lasts for a few minutes, but something breaks it down in midway. We are afraid to give it another try, another opportunity.

Deep down when we all know that this is what we actually want more than anything else and know for sure, that everything else will follow and fall in its place, let us give ourselves yet another chance of acceptance with not only the word outside us but also within us, hence develop an unbreakable bond for now and forever.

A Writeup-From one woman to another

Yet another year and we hit 8th MARCH-INTERNATIONAL WOMAN’S DAY.   This day is observed to celebrate the women achievers in various fields across the globe devoid of economic, cultural background, religion, race, or nationality. Initially, it kicked off in 1909 in US from a labour movement in North America wherein the women workers protested against the working conditions. From then on, it emerged from being from just fighting for working conditions to considering and working for women rights across the globe for various reasons. This day is also known as United Nations day for women rights and International peace. Women and peace on the same day? I have this kind of reaction as I’ve usually heard that women are non peace makers. Wars are fought because of a Woman. Families are fallen apart because of the Woman. The Epic Ramayana and the Mahabharata happened because of a Woman. Let’s have a look at these events known in Hindu Mythology. Had Sita-in Ramayana not bee...

I am You AND You are Me!

Have you ever thought about comparison? Something that is so easy to do but is highly complex in its form? As a Child and a growing adult, I detested being compared with anyone. I did not understand the reason.  I kept thinking, how can one be compared with another? It is often executed as if it does not matter and is done as a matter of fact! I never understood why it is even done... One thing I knew was how it made me feel. What implications it can have. Comparison is a mighty Tool. It often breaks one but at times builds the Craziest ones. The ones it builds end up repeating the "Compare cycle game" Comparison is not saying, you are not doing or studying or performing like the other person but it is also trying and striving to be like a "PARTICULAR PERSON"  Why do you want to be someone else? Be a Photocopy? Why not be YOU? I was often asked, "Who is your Idol? Whom do You follow?" My all-time answer would be "NONE". I say that because there i...

The inner conflict

TO BE OR NOT TO BE- is phrased by Shakespeare in one of his plays-Hamlet. The everyday line for day to day life series is TO DO OR NOT TO DO.   The duality of the mind, the flip-flops of thoughts, the space between the doing and the undoing seems to have captured the souls of every individual. We are usually caught up in-between actions, words, gestures either with oneself or another. Human beings are social animals but are still animals in our own ways.   We love to please all and want to be in good books of all expect one IMPORTANT PERSON- Own self. This is the first step of conflict. A conflict with oneself. The conflict of the outward self with the inward self.   It is a pull and push mechanism. The inner self wants to push the outward self in loving oneself and the outward self is pulling away from listening to it. We resent ourselves from listening to our inner self. We fail to act its way. The reason could be, because we know it does not manipulate or ...
