The Glowing Light….

COLOR adds cheer to LIFE and touches all hearts. Life cannot be imagined without these beautiful shades. It adds a magical touch and serenity. It heals and cures one of his/her worries and disturbances.

The month of March is one such month that celebrates, "HOLI" the essence of COLOR and its importance in each one’s lives. It is the month that brings beautiful events together in the entire year. This possibly is the only festival that has no barriers of religion, caste, creed, age and nationality. All that it carries in itself is sheer Joy and a unified happiness.

This March has globalized this celebration…It is celebrating not only the importance and the beauty of colors by welcoming life, happiness, harmony, and beauty, but it is also celebrating the existence of BEAUTY itself, in its true form and spirit-WOMAN on the same day-8th March-International WOMAN’s Day.

Just as the universe loses its beauty and fades off without its strong, sober and milder shades, life fades off without the strength, persistence, tolerance, kindness of a WOMAN.

A WOMAN adds color to a person’s life. Beautifies and decorates the world around her. Just like the festival of colors that reflects and makes its presence and significance; a WOMAN is colorful in her own way.

She touches a person’s heart with shades of Red that fills one’s heart with Love, warmth and compassion. She is blessed with strong inner strength and stability like Blue. She can be gloomy as Grey and bright as Yellow, pure as white and rebellious, mysterious and elegant as black.

She not only be joyful, creative as the bright orange but at the same time childish, innocent, vulnerable and mischievous as pink. She has a high self-esteem and carries herself with prestige like the color of Gold and is Royal like Purple.

Similar to the color of harvest as Green and heal of Aqua, She adds freshness, harmony, growth and is an emotional healer and protector.

She has the depth of stability and aggressiveness like the shade of Brown. She is calm, trustworthy, loyal & yet heavenly like the color of the sky. She reflects wisdom, confidence, intelligence with her thoughts and speech similar to the color of the deep Blue Sea.

She has always played multiple roles, shared responsibilities and yet spread a smile on one’s faces with her beautiful shades of Colors.I

The festival of colors comes only once in a year and is much awaited, but we fail to notice the embodiment of color that exists in each one’s life that she spreads and touches throughout the year.
Cheers!!! to the most beautiful creation of GOD.Wishing Women a HAPPY WOMAN'S DAY!!!!

A Writeup-From one woman to another

Yet another year and we hit 8th MARCH-INTERNATIONAL WOMAN’S DAY.   This day is observed to celebrate the women achievers in various fields across the globe devoid of economic, cultural background, religion, race, or nationality. Initially, it kicked off in 1909 in US from a labour movement in North America wherein the women workers protested against the working conditions. From then on, it emerged from being from just fighting for working conditions to considering and working for women rights across the globe for various reasons. This day is also known as United Nations day for women rights and International peace. Women and peace on the same day? I have this kind of reaction as I’ve usually heard that women are non peace makers. Wars are fought because of a Woman. Families are fallen apart because of the Woman. The Epic Ramayana and the Mahabharata happened because of a Woman. Let’s have a look at these events known in Hindu Mythology. Had Sita-in Ramayana not bee...

The inner conflict

TO BE OR NOT TO BE- is phrased by Shakespeare in one of his plays-Hamlet. The everyday line for day to day life series is TO DO OR NOT TO DO.   The duality of the mind, the flip-flops of thoughts, the space between the doing and the undoing seems to have captured the souls of every individual. We are usually caught up in-between actions, words, gestures either with oneself or another. Human beings are social animals but are still animals in our own ways.   We love to please all and want to be in good books of all expect one IMPORTANT PERSON- Own self. This is the first step of conflict. A conflict with oneself. The conflict of the outward self with the inward self.   It is a pull and push mechanism. The inner self wants to push the outward self in loving oneself and the outward self is pulling away from listening to it. We resent ourselves from listening to our inner self. We fail to act its way. The reason could be, because we know it does not manipulate or ...

The Awakening Call..

It took in a lot of effort to write this article. Not because it was difficult to write but did not know from where to start. There were so many unanswered questions that were going on in my mind. Dignity, self-respect, confidence, hope and a zeal to live life against all odds is what adds value to mankind and makes life worth living. At some point of time, all these value-adds are at stake. It makes things more difficult when it is hurt and dealt at random with no fault of the person, but is hurt due to certain horrendous acts. One of such is hurt and insulted in the recent days that made headlines which shook the entire nation. This, in turn, started getting diluted politicized on a large scale and on a personal note—became the fight of the sexes  Why do we always wait for such a terrible thing to happen which becomes an awakening call? Makes one realize that the society that we live in is so 2 sided that it can take it and live with it if it goes unnoticed and su...
